1. Introduction

GlucoWorks LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company, doing business as CGMInsight™ (“GlucoWorks,” “Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), is committed to protecting the privacy of individuals who visit our corporate website at gluco-works.com (the “Website”). This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) describes what information we collect, how we use it, with whom we share it, and what choices you have.

Scope: This Policy applies only to the GlucoWorks corporate website (gluco-works.com). The CGMInsight™ platform at cgminsight.com has its own Privacy Policy and Business Associate Agreement that govern the processing of Protected Health Information (PHI). This Website does not collect, process, or store PHI.

If you are a resident of Washington, Nevada, or another state that has enacted a consumer health data privacy law, please also review our Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide Directly

  • Contact Form Submissions: Name, email address, organization name, phone number, and the content of your message when you use our contact form or send emails to addresses listed on the Website.
  • Demo Requests: Information you provide when requesting a product demonstration, including your name, practice name, role, and contact information.
  • Email Communications: Any information you include in emails to info@gluco-works.com, legal@gluco-works.com, or other Company email addresses.
  • Newsletter Sign-up: Email address and name if you subscribe to receive updates from us.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you visit the Website, certain information may be collected automatically through standard web technologies:

  • Device and Browser Information: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device type, and screen resolution.
  • Usage Data: Pages visited, time and date of visits, time spent on pages, referring URL, and click patterns.

2.3 Information We Do Not Collect

The Website does not collect:

  • Protected Health Information (PHI) or patient data of any kind;
  • Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, or government-issued identification numbers;
  • Biometric data;
  • Information from children under 18 (see Section 11).

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information collected through the Website for the following purposes:

  • Responding to Inquiries: To respond to your contact form submissions, demo requests, and other communications.
  • Marketing Communications: To send you information about our products and services, industry developments, and company updates, if you have opted in to receive such communications. You may opt out at any time.

4.3 Business Transfers

In the event of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, corporate conversion (including conversion from LLC to C-Corporation), or sale of all or substantially all of our assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will provide notice before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

  • TLS encryption for all data in transit (HTTPS enforced across the Website);
  • Access controls limiting employee access to personal information on a need-to-know basis;
  • Firebase Hosting’s built-in DDoS protection and global CDN;
  • Google Workspace security controls for business email.

However, no method of internet transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your information.

7. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

7.1 Cookies We Use

The Website may use the following categories of cookies:

  • Strictly Necessary Cookies: Essential for basic Website functionality (e.g., session management if applicable). These cannot be disabled without impairing the Website.
  • Analytics Cookies: We may use analytics services (such as Google Analytics) to collect aggregated information about how visitors use the Website. These cookies help us understand traffic patterns and improve the Website.

Residents of Colorado (CPA), Connecticut (CTDPA), Virginia (VCDPA), Texas (TDPSA), Oregon (OCPA), and other states with comprehensive privacy laws may have additional rights. We will honor valid requests under applicable state law. Contact privacy@gluco-works.com to exercise your rights.

8.4 How to Exercise Your Rights

To submit a privacy rights request, email us at privacy@gluco-works.com with the subject line “Privacy Rights Request.” We will respond within thirty (30) days, or within the timeframe required by applicable law. We may need to verify your identity before processing your request.

9. Consumer Health Data

If you are a resident of Washington, Nevada, or another state that has enacted a consumer health data privacy law, additional protections may apply to certain categories of data. Please review our Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy for details on how we handle consumer health data under these laws.

10. International Visitors

The Website is hosted in the United States and is intended for visitors located in the United States. If you access the Website from outside the United States, you understand and consent to the transfer of your information to the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.

11. Children’s Privacy

The Website is not directed to individuals under the age of 18 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
